Niagara Golf Wall of Recognition
Here in Niagara, we are very passionate about recognizing those who have made an impact on the game of golf in more ways than winning. We cannot think of a better way to honour those than having them recognized and inducted into the History of the Niagara Region. The Niagara Golf Wall of Recognition recognizes not only players that have exceeded expectations, but also the Professionals, Owners, Press, Management, and Volunteers who have made a significant impact and/or influence to golf in Niagara.

Niagara Golf Wall of Recognition Nomination Criteria
The Niagara Golf Wall of Recognition is dedicated to recognizing the extraordinary contributions and accomplishments in the game of golf in Ontario. Honoured members, which include Player, Golf Professionals, Superintendents, and Builders of the sport, which will be inducted annually.
CLASSIFICATION Individuals will be inducted in one of the categories:
- Player (Amateur, Professional)
- Golf Professional (Head Pro, Assistant Pro, and Teaching Pro)
- Superintendent
- Lifetime Achievement (Course builder, Volunteer, Journalist, Owner, etc.)
CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION
Nomination Eligibility:
- Candidates will be considered eligible if they have held significant residency in Niagara during their sporting career
- Candidates must have demonstrated superior athletic performance (USGA, Golf Ontario, and Golf Canada) or significant contribution to golf in Niagara
- Candidates for Lifetime Achievement category must be 50 years of age or older
- No age limit for players
Nominations for 2023
- Complete Online Nomination Form
- Individuals may not nominate themselves
- Submit an image through the Online Nomination Form
- Same as inaugural year
Nomination Open Date: February 6th, 2023
Nomination Close Date: June 30th 2023
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process will be conducted by vote of the Wall of Recognition Committee Members. Nominees not selected will be considered for upcoming years as their nomination will be kept on file. The Niagara Golf Wall of Recognition Committee has the right to consider a nomination which does not meet the minimum guidelines but falls within exceptional circumstances.
